Mazatapec is the “OG” of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and a psilocybe cubensis strain.
The Mazatec are an indigenous people from Oaxaca Mexico, they have a long and sacred history with this mushroom. For generations they used this sacred mushroom in ceremonial ritual connecting to nature and facilitating spiritual healing .
The ‘shroom typically has dark brown caramel caps with medium stems.

It was my first time ordering from 3 amigos and the order arrived in 2 business days. When I saw the mushrooms when I opened the bag I wasn't expecting much but they surprised me by being stronger than they looked. Another thing to note is the taste of eating them was less unpleasant than most of the mushrooms I eat.

For the Mazatapec I definitely felt and saw a lot. I had an interesting but insightful trip. I had taken 1.63grams of the Mazatapec and 30 mins later I was outside looking at everything, the trees, grass, everything. And what I saw was everything moving, felt like everything was breathing & shifting. I then went inside after being in awe and went to go lay on my bed. Then looked up at the ceiling, it was changing patterns constantly, then I devoured a pizza while my ferret ate his food. Then I went into my bathroom to look in the mirror. I saw mosaic patterns with light colours all over my face, then took my shirt off and it was all over my body from head to toe. And I am trying to be more loving towards my body, so that helped me a lot in seeing that my body was beautiful and that I should be more appreciative of it and of myself.
What I felt was different, my heart was racing, felt intense, overly focused, go get it attitude, I felt fierce or beastly like and I acted like a gorilla/dog for a portion of the trip. To say the least, I had a wonderful and insightful trip and will be trying Mazatapec mushrooms again.
